East Beach/Ninigret State Beach
East Beach is a 3-mile long barrier beach on the Atlantic Ocean boarding the Charlestown Ninigret Conservation Area. It is also adjacent to Ninigret Pond, very well known for its' wind surfing attributes.

Charlestown Breachway State Beach
"The Breachway" a term used by many residents of Rhode Island's South Shore was formally opened in the year 1958 to improve access to the Atlantic Ocean and Ninigret pond. The unique location of the Charlestown Breachway at the end of Charlestown Beach Road allows visitors a panoramic view of Block Island Sound, a barrier beach for everyone to enjoy, a camping area for self-contained RV's and a prime "Spot" for Salt Water Fishing.
